Manually Coding Poll Responses

For multiple-choice questions, Telerivet automatically computes statistics and displays them in a bar graph. However, for open-ended questions, Telerivet does not automatically compute statistics, as shown for the example question below:

To allow Telerivet to display a bar graph for open-ended questions, you can manually assign a "code" to each open-ended response. First, click on the number of responses for your poll to see the table of responses:

For any response you want to assign a code to, click the blank cell to open an edit dialog, then enter the code to assign to that response, as shown below:

You can also use the same process to assign codes to "none of the above" multiple-choice responses that didn't match any of your choices, so that they show up correctly in your statistics.

After you assign codes to responses, Telerivet will automatically compute percentages for each code and display them in your poll results:
