To add a new phone number to your Telerivet project, open the Phones page in Telerivet. (If you already have a phone number in your project, click Add a phone number at the top of the Phones page.)
Telerivet asks a few basic questions about your use case in order to help suggest the most appropriate type of phone to use, such as an Android phone, virtual number, or SMS shortcode:
Then, Telerivet will recommend a type of phone for your geographic location and expected volume, for example:
If you want to use a different type of phone than Telerivet suggests, click I want to send messages a different way to view all available types of phone numbers:
When you select which type of phone you want to add, Telerivet will show you the instructions for connecting the phone number to your Telerivet account.
